Processing times refreshed for key UK routes

GOV.UK has updated the published processing times for Skilled Worker, Student and Family applications submitted outside the UK.

Skilled Worker and Student applications are estimated at about 3 weeks.
Family applications are estimated at about 8 weeks.
Priority services can change the practical timeline but are not guaranteed.

GOV.UK has refreshed the processing time guidance for several routes applied for from outside the UK. The figures represent the time needed to process most applications once biometrics and documents have been submitted.

Skilled Worker and Student applications are currently estimated at around three weeks, while Family applications are estimated at around eight weeks. Settlement applications have a separate estimate.

Processing times are not a service standard and can change with demand. Do not book travel until you have the decision and your passport or travel document has been returned.
