Visa fees change for selected immigration routes
Several application fees have been revised, including family and settlement routes. Applications submitted before the change keep the previous fee.
- Family and settlement fees were revised.
- The fee that applies is normally the one in force when the application is submitted.
- Check the current fee before completing payment.
The Home Office has revised fees for a number of immigration routes. The changes affect several family and settlement applications, as well as selected visitor and work categories.
Applications submitted before the effective date normally keep the fee that applied at submission, provided the application is valid and the payment is completed correctly. An application submitted after the change is charged the new amount.
Use the visa fee calculator to estimate the current total, then confirm the amount on GOV.UK before paying. The calculator is an estimate and does not include optional services such as priority processing.
